VENOM MOVIE PRE-PRODUCTION – Comic book movies do well at the box office, and spin-offs, sequels, and trilogies have proven to be very successful as well. The Amazing Spider-Man producers Avi Arad and Matthew Tolmach are currently developing Venom, which is rumored to be tied into the The Amazing Spider-Man. Tolmach stated that, “…all these worlds will live together in peace someday,” hinting a possible connection between the two movies. Josh Trank (Chronicle) is in talks for directing the movie. The producers also emphasized that the Venom story will be more grounded, making the character less of a villain and more of an antihero.
