One of the most iconic costumes in comic book history went through multiple changes throughout its film appearances. The above picture is one of the first versions of the suit from 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger. Then in The Avengers, the suit had a modern update:

    Batmans costume in nolans batman was horrible. It just looks….off. I thinks its the head in some way, but it just looks bad. Kilmers and cloonys were bad (bat nipples!) but keatons was spot on, dark, with the logo and it looked right.

    Captain America’s first version was far, far superior to that featured in the Avengers, which just looks silly. Way to fix something that wasn’t broken.

    Batman’s costume steadily got worse in the Nolan movies. It was at its best in Batman Begins. By the time Dark Knight and Rises rolled around, there was nothing “bat” about it except the helmet ears.
