THE BOURNE LEGACY WORLD PREMIERE FEATURETTE (Exclusive) – The Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City got all snazzed up for the premiere of The Bourne Legacy, which centers around a new hero played by Jeremy Renner. Renner and his costars Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Oscar Isaac and director Tony Gilroy were happy to promote this new direction for the Bourne franchise.
PLOT: Faced with the public and political fallout from the events of The Bourne Ultimatum, the CIA decides to shut down “Operation Outcome,” the successor to “Operation Treadstone.” Aaron Cross (Renner), an agent of Operation Outcome, and Stephanie Snyder (Weisz), a doctor who helped create the Outcome agents, must find a way to escape before CIA agent Byer (Edward Norton) can have them assassinated.
