THE WAY, WAY BACK CASTING NEWS - The comedy drama The Way, Way Back has announced its full cast and is set to start shooting next week in Massachusetts. Along with Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Liam James, and Sam Rockwell comes Rob Corddry, Amanda Peet, and Maya Rudolph. Writers and directors Nat Faxon and Jim Rash will also make appearances in the film.
PLOT: The Way, Way Back is set over the course of a summer and follows a teenage boy (James) who strikes up an unlikely friendship with an adult (Rockwell) — one that helps him confront his abusive stepfather (Carell) and reconnect with his mother (Collette).
