1600 PENN SERIES PREMIERE ON-SET INTERVIEWS (Exclusive Video) – Now into its fourth episode, TV comedy 1600 Penn keeps bringing the laughs with the hilarious antics of the dysfunctional family living in the White House. Co-created by Josh Gad who also stars as the President’s oldest son, the series follows the President (Bill Pullman), his second wife (Jenna Elfman) and his four kids (Gad, Martha MacIsaac, Amara Miller, and Benjamin Stockham) as they experience the same problems every family goes through, but in a bigger spotlight. The cast discussed portraying the first family, the issues that the show covers, and Pullman’s “second term” as the President. 1600 Penn airs on Thursday nights on NBC at 9:30/8:30c.

“You know, it’s kind of great to play the President in a comedy because you don’t have to have quite all the burdens of the world and you don’t have to repulse huge alien attacks.” – Bill Pullman

“I’m so loving acting what they’re writing. I love it! There’s physical comedy, there’s sarcasm, and there’s like this perfect mix for me…and every script keeps rewarding me with fun writing.” – Jenna Elfman

“I think most of all I’m looking forward to finding the little nuances that make you fall in love, that make you look at this family and go, ‘Man, I wish they were the first family.’” – Josh Gad

PLOT: The Gilchrists are just the average American family dealing with all the everyday issues, like a grown kid who’s forced to move back home, teenagers who are smarter than their teachers and a stepmom desperately trying to win over the kids. They’re loving, fun and a little crazy. In other words, just like everyone else – with one exception: they live in a very special house. The White House! Whether it’s entertaining foreign dignitaries, holding secret cabinet meetings or putting out fires – figuratively and sometimes literally – there’s never a dull moment in the Gilchrist White House. For example, the First Son is one of the administration’s biggest liabilities but also the glue that holds this family together. The President knows too well that the only thing harder than being Head of State is being head of the family.

The first pictures from jOBS, the upcoming biopic on Apple’s co-founder, featured Kutcher as Jobs in the 80′s. In this new split-screen image tweeted by Kutcher himself, the resemblance is uncanny. On the left is Kutcher and on the right is a picture of Jobs made popular by his biography, Steve Jobs, written by Walter Isaacson. jOBS closed the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and stars Kutcher, Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak, Apple’s other co-founder; Dermot Mulroney as Mike Markkula, Apple’s second CEO; J.
