DESPICABLE ME 2 EXCLUSIVE CLIP (Video)- With Despicable Me 2 only weeks away, Universal Studios is teasing us by releasing yet another clip of the highly anticipated movie. In this clip, Gru is tucking his three daughters into bed when he catches Margo texting a boy. Gru realizes he doesn’t want the girls growing up too fast. Despicable Me 2 stars Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Elsie Kate Fisher, and Dana Gaier.

PLOT: Gru is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to help deal with a powerful new super criminal having to save the world one more time.

In the sequel, Steve Carell is back as Gru, an ex-villain whose sole priority is now taking care of his three adopted daughters. However, his calm family life is suddenly interrupted when he is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to stop El Macho. With Dr. Nefario (Russell Brand) and his trusty minions at his side, Gru is back for action. Despicable Me 2‘s voice cast also includes Kristen Wiig, Steve Coogan, Ken Jeong, Miranda Cosgrove, and Moisés Arias.

DESPICABLE ME 2 CARELL GRU – Beginning the promotional tour for his animated movie, Despicable Me 2, Steve Carell showed up to the The Ellen DeGeneres Show as the real life version of Gru. Host Ellen DeGeneres asked Gru (Carell) where he was from because of his accent and he answered Albuquerque, New Mexico. When DeGeneres laughed at the reply he said “That’s where I’m from! Don’t push this topic!” The audience was treated to a dance party as Gru showed off his stuff, dancing through the studio. In the movie, Gru (Steve Carell) is brought by Lucy Wild (Kristin Wiig) to the Anti-Villain Leagues’ headquarters where they need his help saving the world. The movie will also feature the voice cast of Russell Brand, Miranda Cosgrove , Steve Coogan, and Moises Arias.

NEW DESPICABLE ME 2 TRAILER-  A brand new teaser trailer for Despicable Me 2  has  been released today,  marking the end of a  long awaited inside look at the anticipated sequel. Although no further plot  information has been released for the film , it has been said that the sequel will include more interactions within the group of minions, who assist the mad scientist turned father, Gru (Steve Carell).  In the trailer we see two of the minions getting into several mischievous situations,  before encountering a very mysterious incident as well as a minion being greeted at the door by an unseen enemy.  The film will also  feature the amazing voice cast of  Russell Brand, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove , Steve Coogan, Moises Arias  and Al Pacino.

DESPICABLE ME MINIONS MOVIE - The adorable little yellow-colored henchmen for Groo, know as The Minions are geting a movie of their very own to be released in 2014. Universal Pictures is currently working on Despicable Me 2 but has also announced that they are now working on a project that will focus is on the antics of The Minions as they interact with human characters. The script has been written by Brian Lynch with Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda co-directing. Pierre Coffin co-directed Despicable Me and is helming the sequel with Chris Renaud. Coffin and Renaud are also the voices of The Minions in the sequel. The first movie was a huge success for Universal it made $543 million on a $69 million budget and Universal has just opened a 3D ride Minion Mayhem at Universal Studios Orlando.
