ROCK OF AGES PREMIERE (Exclusive Video) – The stars of Rock of Ages arrived on the red carpet for the world premiere on Hollywood Boulevard. Along with director Adam Shankman, stars Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Julianne Hough, Malin Akerman, and Diego Boneta attended and spoke to ScreenSlam about working with each other and their excitement for the premiere. Joe Elliott, lead vocalist of British rock band Def Leppard, and Gene Simmons from KISS both praised the movie, emphasizing Cruise’s electrifying performance and the tribute to great rock music.
“The challenge was ‘can I get my voice?’ because I didn’t want to do it unless I sang every note, and I had never trained professionally in singing, and also there was the dancing. I worked very hard for 5 to 6 hours a day for many, many, many months.” – Tom Cruise
