London’s Leicester Square Premieres J.J. Abrams’ STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS (Exclusive Featurette)

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS LONDON PREMIERE – With the release of J. J. Abrams‘ Star Trek Into Darkness quickly approaching, we take a look at the world premiere that was held at London’s Leicester Square. Abrams was joined by his cast, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Alice Eve and, of course, Chris Pine who plays Captain Kirk. Star Trek: Into Darkness is a movie that is not just made for fans of Star Trek. If you happen to see the movie we made before or the originial series, then great, but it’s not required,” says Abrams. “Star Trek part two would be like Star Trek on steroids,” Saldana promise and Pegg stated that, “We couldn’t just do the same thing again.” “We just had to hit the ground running and take it some where further,” continued Pegg.

PLOT: After the crew of the Enterprise find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.
