THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE - Lionsgate announced that Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has been cast as Plutarch Heavensbee in the next adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Hoffman’s character is the Head Gamemaker, who oversees the 75th Annual Hunger Games. The film still has many spots to fill, but for now, Hoffman will join Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Donald Sutherland, and newest addition Jena Malone for the next chapter of the hit trilogy.
