ETAN COHEN REWRITING GHOSTBUSTERS 3 – Last week Dan Aykroyd confirmed that Ghostbusters 3 had hired a new writer. ComingSoon has learned that Men in Black 3 and Tropic Thunder writer Etan Cohen will take on the project.

Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky wrote the previous draft of the script, which was to bring back together the original cast of Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson, but Murray didn’t want to move forward until the script was perfect. Aykroyd also confirmed the plot will revolve around a new generation of Ghostbusters and hinted at a few characters.
