THUNDERSTRUCK TRAILER (Video) – Similar to 2002 movie Like Mike, Thunderstruck is about a kid (Taylor Gray) who looks up to Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Kevin Durant. However, he has absolutely no skill on the court, but when a chance encounter gives him Durant’s talent, he becomes the top player at his school. Unfortunately, this results in Durant losing his ability and his friend (Brandon T. Jackson) must find a way for the two to trade back talents. The movie also stars Jim Belushi as a high school basketball coach.
PLOT: Brian, a 16 year-old, can’t play basketball. His favorite basketball player and hero is Kevin Durant. He wants to be like him. At an Oklahoma City Thunder game Brian gets chosen to shoot a half court shot. He shoots and hits the mascot. He gets to meet Kevin Durant and says he wants to play like him. When Kevin Durant gives Brian the ball they switch talents. Brian becomes a high school phenom and Kevin Durant can’t play good anymore. Durant’s friend finds out where Kevin Durant’s talent goes. With the Thunder on the verge of missing the playoffs, Kevin and Brian try to give Kevin his talent back.
