Kathleen Kennedy Talks LucasFilm, Star Wars & J.J. Abrams at the Will Rogers Pioneer of the Year Award Dinner

KATHLEEN KENNEDY STAR WARS – Last night, LucasFilm co-chair Kathleen Kennedy received the annual Pioneer Of The Year award from the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation, becoming the only second woman to earn the honor. Both Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Sally Field attended. At the red carpet before the event we got to talk to Kennedy about a host of questions. She spoke on being a role model for woman in or wanting to be in the film industry. Also the Oscar-nominated producer shared about LucasFilm being her biggest challenge, the difficulties in keeping movie secrets out of the public and J.J. Abrams‘ hesitation in agreeing to direct Star Wars: Episode 7.
