JESSICA BIEL TOTAL RECALL (Exclusive Interview) – Jessica Biel plays Melina in Len Wiseman‘s Total Recall remake. ScreenSlam sat down with Jessica Biel to talk about what drew her to the role, preparing for the part, the sets, women in action roles and the challenges of landing big roles in Hollywood movies.
On what drew her to the role:
“I think the most appealing thing was the challenge of creating this love story with a person who doesn’t remember you at all, and being able to thread it though and make it be just as impactful as these incredible action sequences and these chases and fight sequences.”
On the sets:
“The sets were very practical. They were real, they were built for us and they were huge in scale. You did feel that you were transported to another time, another place and you can really get a sense of this other person whose shoes you were stepping into.”
