THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN EMMA STONE VLOG (Video) – Unlike the previous Spider-Man movies, the main love interest of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) in The Amazing Spider-Man is not Mary Jane Watson, but instead Gwen Stacy, who is portrayed by Emma Stone. According to the comics, Gwen was Peter’s first love during college before Mary Jane. However, in Marc Webb‘s movie, the two characters will be in high school when they start dating. In order to understand her character, Stone studied Gwen’s clothing styles, room designs, and childhood. She also added how working on such a big production was very overwhelming yet exciting.
