AMERICANO MATHIEU DEMY INTERVIEW (Exclusive Video) – ScreenSlam sat down with Americano director, writer, producer, and star, Mathieu Demy, to talk about his French drama. In the movie, Demy plays a man who travels from France to Los Angeles upon hearing about his mother’s death. He then goes to Tijuana, Mexico to find Lola (Salma Hayek), who may have the answers he is searching for. Demy spoke on writing with Hayek in mind because he needed a genuine Mexican and beautiful woman to play the part. Since Americano is a French movie, opening in the U.S. is a big deal and Demy hopes for the best.
