LINCOLN STEVEN SPIELBERG – DreamWorks Pictures is once again teaming up with the legendary Steven Spielberg to bring the new biography drama Lincoln to the big screen. In collaboration with screenwriter, Pulitzer Prize winner, Tony Award winner, and Academy Award winner, Tony Kushner, Lincoln is based off the best-selling book “Team of Rivals” written by Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin. Lincoln will showcase Abraham Lincoln’s journey on the road to abolition and the end of the civil war. The film has an impressively long cast list containing actors Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hal Holbrook, James Spader, John Hawkes, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill, Joseph Cross, David Costabile, Byron Jennings, Dakin Matthews, Boris McGiver, Gloria Reuben, Jeremy Strong, David Warshofsky, David Strathairn, Walton Goggins, Lee Pace, Jackie Earle Haley, David Oyelowo, and Jared Harris. Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play Robert Lincoln, son of Abraham and Mary Lincoln, played by Daniel Day-Lewis and Sally Field, respectively.
PLOT: The sixteenth President of the United States guides the North to victory during the Civil War.
