Screenslam sat down with co-creator Iain Morris who spoke about the story, the inspiration for the story, the effects, the fun times on set and the US release.
On The US release:
“When we first started writing the script we were like should we think about selling it in america, should we think about that and we thought no lets be honest to the characters and honest to the series and just make it as British as we can and so I’m absolutely delighted that it’s being released in the US.”
On the inspiration for the story:
“When we started working on the series before the film our working title was Teenage Boys are Idiots, In the nicest possible sense because I know we where. I think thats something everyone can relate to, you see what their getting up to, you see the things they do and you think that god I’m not doing that anymore or I kinda miss doing things like that.”
