CHRIS HEMSWORTH ORIGIN STORY (Video) – Back when Chris Hemsworth made his debut in Thor, Screenslam did a little research and dug up Hemsworth’s history. What was this 28-year-old Australian actor doing before he starred in movies? At the Thor premiere last year, we asked co-stars Jaimie Alexander, Clark Gregg, and Tom Hiddleston and director Kenneth Branagh if they knew how Hemsworth was cast for the lead role. It turns out, he was the perfect person to play a superhero wielding a magic hammer.
