PITCH PERFECT TRAILER (Video) – Pitch Perfect, the upcoming comedy musical, features the fierce competition in the world of college a cappella. Anna Kendrick is the rebellious student who tries to stay out of the spotlight, but once a fellow classmate (Brittany Snow) hears her singing in the shower, she is placed right into a group. The trailer reveals a few a cappella renditions of popular songs and even some dance choreography. The movie will also star Skylar Astin (Wreck-It Ralph), Anna Camp (True Blood), Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids), Freddie Stroma (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), and Adam DeVine (Workaholics).
PLOT: Based on Mickey Rapkin’s non-fiction novel ”Pitch Perfect” Rapkin, senior editor at GQ magazine, spent a season covering competitive collegiate a cappella. He followed the groups from Tufts University, the University of Oregon, and the University of Virginia, writing about the singing, groupies, partying and rivalries. The story follows an all-girls a cappella group who rebuilds so they can make their way to the championship and take on the boys.
